With both the International Trade and Innovation judging panel meetings under our belt, we look forward to the final panel meeting for the Sustainable Development category next week. Those businesses that make it through these panels will then go on to be assessed by the Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee next month. The Enterprise Promotion committee has also reviewed this year's nominations, which will be publicly announced along with the business awards on 21 April.
Talking of Sustainable Development, Northern Ireland’s Climate Week will be taking place from 4 March. Although sadly we are unable to attend personally, our Queen’s Awards promotional materials should be making an appearance on 6 March at the 'Making Sustainable Profits' event hosted by The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce. The event aims to promote ways in which we can live and work more sustainably.
We are always interested in finding out more about previous Queen’s Awards winning businesses, so why not showcase your business and send us a video! From the semi-professional to the ones taken on an iPhone, we’d love to hear your story. As always, the address you need is info@queensawards.org.uk.
