Bigger eyes in the Queen's Awards Office...

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Office updates

We received our new desktop screens on Monday… they are bigger and wider than the ones we used previously and like any new development they're taking a bit of getting used to… but being able to see a larger and clearer version of the guidance notes or entry forms (which we're currently revising) can only be a good thing.

We are always happy to answer any queries you may have about the entry process or the form itself, and this year we are working to provide a booklet of the most frequently asked questions posed to us over the helpline, which we hope to have ready to share with you very soon. If there is a particular question you want to ask us please feel free to send it in to - you've still got time to make the publication...

Following the success of our visit to Scotland last year, on which we captured a handful of Queen's Award winning Scottish businesses for our YouTube channel, we have decided to do the same with our lovely Welsh winners.

If you are a Queen's Award winning business based in Wales and would be happy for us to come along and do a bit of filming, then don’t hesitate to get in touch. As always, the email address you need is We’re waiting to hear from you!

If you haven’t checked out our growing collection of YouTube videos yet and are curious to know what we’re talking about then pop over to our Queen’s Awards channel.

The awards tend not to be publicised as much as it could. Having the 'booklet' available in say all libraries would certainly enhance the knowledge of application.
