The week following the events of 23 July has been a busy one here at The Queen’s Awards office.
Sean and I headed up North on Monday (the hottest day of the year so far) to set up this year’s exhibition of Queen’s Awards winners in the window of the BIS Sheffield office.

Not content with a LinkedIn page, a Twitter account and a brand new blog, The Queen’s Awards Office is hurtling even deeper into the digital arena and filming our own mini videos for YouTube!
23 July is the day of the Queen’s Awards 2013 reception at Buckingham Palace. I'm sure the winners are looking forward to this and to make the day a bit more special I’m delighted to announce an additional afternoon celebration.
Tomorrow is my last day with The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise team and I will be very sorry to say goodbye.
I thought it was about time The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise entered the world of blogging and I wanted to start my first post by congratulating our 2013 winners, who are announced today.
